
New Shanghai SIPG signing Asamoah Gyan is currently training on his own before joining up with his new teammates.
The Chinese club have assigned a physical instructor to the 29-year-old as he whips himself into shape before joining the main group.

Gyan is expected to join his new club for full scale training later this week after he is officially unveiled.

The Black Stars captain signed a two-year contract last Friday to complete his move from Al Ain.

Shanghai SIPG were said to have paid close to €20m to sign Gyan from the UAE giants.
The Ghana striker will also see his weekly earnings rise to a staggering $300,000 – making him one of the most paid players in world football.
