Nigeria striker Tosin Omoyele has rated the just concluded Nigeria Professional Football League season as a great one for him, Nigeriasoccernet.com can exclusively report.
The former Osun United striker started the season with Enyimba, playing for them in the CAF Confederation Cup but at a point during the season left Aba for Kastina where he teamed up with Kastina United till the end of the season.
Talking about the journey between the two teams during season, Omoyele exclusively told Nigeriasoccernet.com that it was a good season for him in the league.
“Its a great season for me playing with Enyimba and also Kastina United. Its a memorable one and also a season filled with great lessons for me.”
Asked about how he felt when leaving Enyimba for Kastina United, he said:
“Its a normal challenge for me and what happens in football generally. Its a bye-gone, everyone is fine and both parties are okay.”
Omoyele expressed his sadness over Kastina United’s relegation as that was the aim before he joined them.
“Its a bad thing for me. I feel so bad because my purpose of coming here is to help them with my abilities and that of my colleagues and we really tried out best but at the end we couldn’t achieve our aims.
“That’s football but its a painful thing for us all but I know we will bounce back for sure.”
Omoyele confirmed his exit from Kastina United but chose to keep his next destination to himself, although he said his adviser and lawyer will look at any offer that comes to his table.
