GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report that promoted Ghana Premier League side BA United have signed veteran striker Alex Asamoah on a one-year deal.
Asamoah joins the Sunyani-based side on a free transfer after running down his contract with regional rivals Aduana Stars at the end of last season.
The 2009 Ghana Premier League top scorer will be a major signing for Frimpong Manso’s side who take on Bechem United in their league opener on Saturday at home.
He has rich experience from playing in the Ghana top-flight after previously representing Berekum Arsenals, Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold.
Asamoah scored five goals last season in the First Capital Plus Ghana Premier League.
