For her amiable works through her foundation, Shefootball initiative, Ayisat Yusuf-Aromire has been awarded by FIFPRO.
She won the FIFPRO Player’s Voice Merit Award category for her work of empowering young girls to play football.

The former Super Falcons player was nominated for Jalkapallon Pelaajayhdistys following the achievement of her foundation, according to kick442.com.
The initiative is a yearly conference that seeks to help fulfill the dreams of young women to play football.
Aromire who played for Delta Queens, Nasarawa Amazons and Rivers Angels was an integral part of the Nigeria women’s team to the 2004 African Women’s Championship.
She also played in the 2007 World Cup and 2008 in the Olympics.
