Ex Enyimba player appointed Ghana U20 Goalkeeper trainer

Former Enyimba goalkeeper, Fatau Dauda as being employer by the Ghana Football Association as goalkeeper’s trainer for the country’s U-20 men’s team, the Black Satellites.
Dauda who played for Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL giants, Enyimba between 2016 and 2019 is among the new set of coaches for the Ghana U20 side.
The appointment is coming for the 37-year-old shot-stopper five months after announcing his retirement from active football.
He is expected to prepare the goalkeepers in a team to be handled by Samuel Baodu who is taking over from Karim Zito as Head Coach of the Black Satellites.
Dauda had 26 national team appearances with the Black Stars and had stints with AshantiGold SC, Orlando Pirates, Chippa United and Legon Cities.
He featured for Ghana at the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil and three Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON tournaments in 2013, 2015 and 2017 respectively.
Fatau Dauda and other members of the coaching crew are expected to lead Ghana to the 2023 All African Games they will be hosted in August.
