Stabaek fans who will purchase the latest edition of the association football simulation video game published by EA Sports will have the 26-year-old as their cover.
The former Manchester United triallist was chosen for the club’s image following his massive popularity among Eliteserien fans for his distinguished and outstanding displays.
Asante has also become a globe icon in the renowned game after he was rated the second fastest player in the world, beating Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
EA Sports invite top football clubs worldwide to present their players to become poster-boys for the editions and Stabaek settled on the Ghanaian.
The player’s has fast become the most important player at Stabaek on his first season at the club following his rate of assisting and scoring important goals.
