Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has made it clear that securing victory against Rwanda in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier is a must, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.
Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Chelle emphasized the importance of the must-win clash at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Friday.
“I just want to be with my players. I want them to focus on this game, and after that, we’ll think about the others. We need to win this game,” he stated.
With Nigeria sitting on just three points from four matches, a victory over Rwanda—who currently top the group—would be crucial in reviving their qualification hopes.
