EPL: Iwobi expects the fans to come through for Everton when they talk in Newcastle

Everton midfielder, Alex Iwobi is of the option that the home fans will be behind the them when the Toffees welcome Newcastle on Thursday, Nigeriasoccernet.com  reports.

While Newcastle’s campaign this season have been one of a kind, looking like a team for l the UEFA Champions League, Everton Are slip away from relegation.

Newcastle’s 6-1 victory against Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend will send a note of warning to any opposition and Iwobi is expecting the fan to be their twelfth man when Merseysiders play them later tomorrow.

“It’s another game at home with the fans behind us,” Iwobi told Everton’s official website

“That should lift and motivate us. Newcastle are coming off the back of a good win, but we’ve got the motivation and a couple of players coming back. Doucs and Dom are back.”
