
Nigeria midfielder Kingsley Sokari has signed a three-and-half-year deal with CS Sfaxien from Nigerian league champions, Enyimba.
The 20-year-old, who was unveiled by the 2013 Caf Confederation Cup winners on Monday, will wear the jersey No.20.
The exit of the former Enyimba star will automatically exempt him from playing part in the Super Eagles’ campaign at the 2016 Championship of African Nation in Rwanda in January next year.
“The midfielder of the Nigerian national team U23, Sokari Kingsley has signed with CS Sfaxien by signing a contract of three years and a half,” the club website announced.
“The 20 years old came to reinforce the staff of the CSS margin the winter transfer window in 2015. Welcome Sokari in CSSiste family and good luck!,” it concluded.
He will team up with fellow youth international, Junior Ajayi joined the north African side last summer. Interestingly, both scored to earn Nigeria U23 a 2-0 opening victory against Ghana at the 2015 All African Games in Brazaville.
Sokari will hope to begin making his mark for Juventus of the Arabs in a Tunisia Ligue 1 clash against Union Sportive de Ben Guerdane on Wednesday.
CS Sfaxien who are unbeaten in opening eight straight games, sits atop of the Tunisia Ligue 1 table with 22 points, a point ahead of closets rival Esperance.
