English Championship side Hull City have offered a professional contract to English player of Ghanaian descent Will Annan, the club has confirmed.
The 19-year-old has inked the long-term deal and is already banging in goals for the U21 side in their games.
Annan has joined Hull’s Under-21 Development Squad on a full-time basis in 2015/16 following his impressive showing for the Tigers through their various youth games for the last two seasons and he has been rewarded with a contract.
Last season, though not permanently with the U21 side, he propelled them to the Youth FA Cup final after bagging a sensational hat-trick to secure victory against Brentford.
On August 4, the highly prodigious forward highlighted his scoring prowess with a brace for the Tigers’ U21 side in their Port Talbot.
He opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before his second of the game and a further goal from Taylor Tombides gave Tony Pennock’s side a commanding 3-0 lead at half time.
Though Annan looks purely English, there is a Ghanaian bloodline in his family which shows in his Ghanaian name – Annan.
