Eguavoen sympathies with the Ghanaian Federation for the painful demise Atsu

The Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Augustine Eguavoen sympathised with the family and friends of Ghanaian international Christian Atsu who has now been found death days after the Turkey earthquake. Nigeriasoccer.com reports.

The agent of the ex-Chelsea and Newcastle winter, Nana Schere on his Twitter handle reveal that the body of Atsu was recovered under the rubble of his home almost two weeks after the Turkey earthquake.

““It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce to all well wishers that sadly Christian Atsu’s body was recovered this morning.

“My deepest condolences go to his family and loved ones. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their prayers and support.” Schere wrote on his page.

Meanwhile, the former coach of the Super Eagles, Eguavoen commiserated with the family of the deceased and everyone associated with Ghanaian football.
