Super Eagles striker Junior Ajayi has completed a move back to the Egyptian Premier League about a year after leaving the country for Libya, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Before joining Al-Nasr Benghazi of Libya, Junior Ajayi played for Egyptian side Al Ahly between 2016 and 2021 winning two CAF Champions Leagues, four league titles, two Egypt Cups, and two Egypt Super Cups scoring a total of 41 goals and providing 30 assists in 161 appearances.
Ajayi was also part of the Al Ahly team that won the 2021 Club World Cup bronze medal, netting a penalty against Palmeiras in the third-placed playoff.
Having completed his short deal Al Nasr of Libya in July, Junior Ajayi have now returned to familiar environment but this time with another club, Smouha on a free transfer for contract billed for three years.
