Cremonese coach, Davide Ballardini acted an Oliver Twist when he showered Cyriel Dessers with good words following his magnificent contribution in their last league game, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Desssers who came in as a substitute grabbed a brace to give Cremonese a 3-2 win over Sassuolo away at the MAPEI stadium.
The impressive performance from the 29 year-old has brought him some encomium from his manger who also demand he plays that way often.
“He was very good, he did well. His assignment is to always play this way: bold, determined and then decisive,” Ballardini told reporters.
Dessers has scored five goals in 19 league appearances for Cremonese this season.
