Villarreal were made work for their 2-1 away win against CD Guijuelo at the Municipal Luis Ramos with Gerard Moreno and Danjuma coming to their aid.
Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze kept a spot in the starting line up of Villarreal But was later taken off in the second half.

The Nigerian international Chukwueze in the 71st minute was replace by Nico Jackson but the Yellow submarines did not get the winner until extra-time.
Only three minutes of extra time had been played when Dani Parejo delivered a great cross that Danjuma, onside and after an excellent run, fired in with his left foot to put the Submarine ahead which turned out to be the winner which will be advancing Quique Setién’s team to the third round of the Copa del Rey.
