“?Christian Eriksen has praised the versatility and willingness of Spurs’ bolstered squad after they earned their fifth victory in a row, in all competitions, in a Premier League season which they still remain unbeaten.
The whole team was lauded for their tireless pressing efforts in a 2-0 victory over a previously unbeaten Manchester City side, and the absences of Eric Dier, Mousa Dembélé and Harry Kane were of no consequence to the team’s success against the league’s top side.

“Everyone wants to play, everyone wants to win,”? said the 24-year-old thoughtfully to “?Spurs’ official website. He is now with the Denmark national team and preparing for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Poland and Montenegro.
“We’ve got a very, very strong team and, even if we rotate a few players, the new ones will come in and fill the spots perfectly.”
“Every player who comes in can play in different positions too. Sonny, for example, can play as a striker as well. He’s a different type to Harry Kane or Vincent Janssen so he filled in differently (against City) but it was the perfect mix on Sunday because City dropped a lot and there was a lot of space to run in between.”

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino had made three changes to the side that defeated CSKA Moscow on the Tuesday night, with Kyle Walker, Moussa Sissoko and Danny Rose all brought in. Heung-min Son also played a central role ahead of a misfiring Vincent Janssen.
