As Rivers United are set to host CAF Champions League defending champions Wydad Casablanca, the North Africans have announced the date and venue for the return leg against Rivers United.
Rivers United will host the first leg of the qualifying round of the Champions League at the Adokiye Amasiamaka Stadium on Sunday, 9 October, 2022.
The three-time CAF Champions League winners are expected to arrive in Nigeria later on Friday for the first-leg match.
Wydad on Friday afternoon announced Mohammed V Sports Complex as the venue on Sunday the 16th of October.
The winner over the two legs encounter will reach the group stage of the competition, while the loser drops to the playoffs rounds of the Confederation Cup.
