Breaking News: Holders Ghana drawn with rivals Nigeria, Senegal and Egypt for 2015 All Africa Games tournament

Defending champions Ghana have drawn title favourites Senegal, Egypt and Nigeria in Group B of the 2015 All Africa Games football tournament.

The Black Meteors, the national U23 side, are bent on winning a second consecutive gold medal after beating South Africa on penalties for that historic feat in Maputo four years ago.

But must fend off competition from West African rivals Nigeria’s Dream Team and Senegal.

Malik Jabir and his side have been eliminated from the qualifiers to the 2016 Olympic Games and would like to placate fans with a good showcase.

Group A comprises hosts Congo, Sudan, Zimbabwe and Burkina Faso

This year’s All Africa Games will be held from 4 to 19 September in Brazzaville, Congo.

All Africa Games men football tournament:

Group A: Congo, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Burkina Faso

Group B: Ghana, Senegal, Egypt, Nigeria
