
Ghana Under-20 striker Benjamin Tetteh has signed a four-year deal with Belgian outfit Standard Liege, the club announced on Thursday.
The Ghanaian youngster signed the dotted lines in the company of his representative Kurt Okraku after passing a mandatory medical.
Tetteh becomes the latest Ghanaian youngster to play for Standard Liege following the exploits of Black Stars Daniel Opare.
The youngster joins from Ghanaian second-tier side Dream FC and will be immediately whisked to Austria to begin pre-season with his new club.
The lanky striker settled for the Belgian outfit after trying out with Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and German side Borussia Mon’gladbach.
The former Ghana Under-17 striker was a member of Ghana’s Under-20 squad which crushed out of the 2015 World Youth Championship in New Zealand in the second round.
