
Ghana coach Avram Grant has named debutant Bernard Mensah in his starting line-up to face Togo in a Monday’s pre-2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier friendly.
The former Chelsea manager is demanding a compact display from his side against the Hawks at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ghana is preparing for their opening game in the 2017 Afcon qualifiers against Mauritius and will use the friendly as a litmus test to gauge their readiness for the task ahead.
The Hawks under new coach Tom Saintfiet, are also using the friendly as a preparatory for their Nations Cup qualifier with Liberia.
