Borussia Monchengladbach star Thorgan Hazard has rubbished talk of a potential return to Chelsea and insists he is ‘happy’ in Germany, as reported by Belgian publication Het Laatste Niuews.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed a bright start to the season in the Bundesliga, scoring three goals in five appearances, as well as grabbing a goal against Barcelona in the Champions League.

His recent form prompted talk of a potential return to Chelsea, whom he left in 2015 after three years, in which he failed to make a senior appearance.

Gladbach signed Hazard for £5.9m and despite Chelsea insisting rumours of a buy-back clause inserted in his initial five-year deal are indeed true, the Bundesliga outfit have refuted the claims.

But Hazard has revealed he is not thinking of a return to Stamford Bridge in a potential reunion with his brother Eden, whom has teased his younger brother on his recent form.

He said: “Chelsea? I’m not thinking about a move. I’m happy in Germany. But I don’t know my limits at all.”

He also added on his recent fine form: “Eden jokingly says sometimes: “?Calm down, bro. The people might start to think you’re better than me’.”

The elder Hazard brother has had a mixed start to the season and after a disappointing run of defeats against Liverpool and Arsenal, the 26-year-old and his teammates got back to winning ways against Hull City on Saturday.

The 2-0 win has eased the pressure on manager Antonio Conte, who revealed his delight at the win but insists improvement is still necessary.
