The Italian Football Federation has officially announced Ghana international pair of Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and Afriyie Acquah have been sanctioned for various offends.
Midfielder Badu has been slapped with a two-match ban by the Disciplinary Committee of the Italian Football Federation for insulting referee Gianluca Rochi during his side Udinese’s 2-1 defeat to Inter Milan at Stadio on Wednesday.
While midfielder Acquah has also been charged will also serve a one-match ban after he was sent off in his side’s 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona on Thursday evening.
Badu, 24, was red-carded after the Disciplinary Committee stated on Friday that the 24-year-old midfielder used vulgar words on the official after he was shown a red card in the 59th minute.
This ruling means Badu will miss both of Udinese’s upcoming games while Acquah has already missed Sampdoria’s 1-0 loss against Juventus on Saturday.
