“?Bayern Munich winger Kinsgley Coman could return to Juventus at the end of the season after a less than impressive start to the current campaign.
France international Coman is currently halfway through a €7m two-year loan from Serie A side Juventus, and Bayern have the option of making the deal permanent at the end of the loan for a fee of €21m should they desire to.
However, according to BILD as reported by “?Football Italia, Bayern are having second thoughts over whether to make the deal permanent, with Coman yet to register a goal or assist so far this season.
The 20-year-old thrived under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola, who has since left the Bundesliga outfit and joined Manchester City as their new head coach, but hasn’t displayed the same form for new boss Carlo Ancelotti, having to battle the likes of Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben, Douglas Costa and Thomas Muller for a starting position.
Coman is one of Europe’s brightest prospects, having already won league titles in France, Italy and Germany, and has already been capped 11 times by France at senior level, including playing for Les Blues at Euro 2016. He appeared in the final as a substitute, but couldn’t inspire the team as they lost in extra-time to Portugal.
Considering what he’s already achieved in football despite his tender age, €21m could be a steal for Bayern, who have already shown recently that they are not afraid to spend vast transfer fees on Europe’s top youngsters. Portugal’s 19-year-old midfielder Renato Sanches signed for the German giants in the summer for an initial €35m, and the former Benfica star has so far appeared in five matches for Bayern in all competitions this season.
