New Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti is keen on luring Eric Dier away from White Hart Lane this summer and give him the opportunity to play at one of the most prestigious clubs in the world at Bayern Munich, according to the Sunday People.
Eric Dier has been a breath of fresh air for both club and country this past season, and the English media are running out of superlatives to throw at him.
He’s undoubtedly been one of England’s star performers this summer at Euro 2016, although that may not be that hard.
His form, however, has prompted Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich to enquire about the 22-year-old midfielder.
Dier’s performances for England have proved to be just what they needed in the squad, whilst also demonstrating his dead ball specialism with a free kick goal against Russia.
However, Eric Dier will not come cheap, with his contract at Tottenham not due to expire until 2020. Spurs paid under £4m for the defensive midfielder back in 2014, shaping up to be a very profitable investment, as his price tag soars. It is estimated he would cost somewhere around the £30m mark, and let’s not forget the service fee for acquiring English players, that will likely boost that up to £40m.

Dier played in 37 of Spurs’ 38 fixture last season, just missing out on one game due to a suspension. He notched three goals and recorded two assists in his campaign, helping the side finish in third place after mounting a serious title challenge. This is Tottenham’s highest ever finish in the Premier League.
