Nottingham Forest striker, Taiwo Awoniyi has revealed his side is determined to take out any opposition standing their way ahead of their Premier League tie against Manchester United, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The matchday 31 tie is a must win for the two teams as both sides fight for a different course.
While Manchester United look to make the top four and play in the UEFA Champions league next season, the Trick Trees are in the relegation zone with 27 points from 30 games.
To avoid relegation, Awoniyi believes the 18th position Forest can draw inspiration from their draw against teams like Manchester City and Chelsea this season.
“Now it is Manchester United which is the first step to what we want to achieve which is the goal to stay in the Premier League,” the Nigeria international told BBC Radio Nottingham.
“Like I said we just have to be ourselves, it doesn’t matter who we are playing, the most important thing is ourselves.”
The 25-year-old recently returned to action for Nottingham following a groin injury.
He has scored four goals in 19 league appearances for the club this season.
