Nottingham Forest coach, Steve Cooper ahead of the tie against Leicester City has ruled out his team’s top striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, due injury.
The Super Eagles striker has been the shining light for the Forest but has missed the last two games due to the injury he picked up in the game against Southampton at the St Mary’s Stadium earlier this month.
“Taiwo didn’t make it for this one(against Leicester City),” Cooper was quoted by Nottingham Post.
“We’re working away with him for the weekend. We’ve got our fingers crossed on that one.”
The 27 year-old has scored four goals in 16 league appearances.
