Atalanta according Ignazio Genuardi is linked with Lille’s left winger Jonathan Bamba (26) whose contract at the Ligue 1 club expires this summer, coming as a cheap and quality replacement for Ademola Lookman
Bamba this season has scored four times in the league for Lille, providing three assists, compare to Lookman who has 7 league goals and 3 assists for Atalanta.
Atalanta keeping the Nigeria international who came on loan from RB Leipzig would have been the reasonable option but the Bergamo side can’t cough out €20m the German club is asking.
Bamba however will come as a quality replace as both players operate from the left wing of the attack with both players also having eye for goals.
Should Atalanta manage to secure the services of Bamba, breaking the bank to sign Lookman may be unrealistic although Fiorentina is ready to rival Atalanta for Bamba.
