Amputee Football will be great in 2023 – NAF President

Paul Maduakor, the president of Nigerian Amputee Football, has urged the sports-loving peo­ple of Nigeria to look forward to 2023 with great hope and ex­pectations for overall develop­ment and positive turnaround, especially the Amputee Foot­ball Sector.

In his New Year released in his new capacity as the presi­dent of the Federation, Madu­akor expressed the hope that 2023 would be a “year of giant lift for the federation”, urging the support of the cooprate world and people to make the dream a reality.

He congratulated Nigerians for making it to the New Year in spite of the numerous chal­lenges and threats noting that the miracle of daily existence in good health itself is a grace that must never be taken for granted. He thanked God for berthing in 2023 despite the odds of the past years.

The amputee football presi­dent pledged his commitment to development, welfare, job creation, human capital devel­opment and infrastructure in the New Year to turn around the fortunes of the sport.

He said his board was work­ing hard to give the Federation a new face and make it more attractive to sponsors and in­dividuals.

Maduakor disclosed that his administration is liaising with individuals, companies and critical government agencies to facilitate access to funds to sup­port the growth of the Nigeria Amputee Football Federation.

He concluded with prayers to all Nigerians, saying, “May all our unfulfilled plan goals of 2022 be accomplished this year.”  .
