Paul Maduakor, the president of Nigerian Amputee Football, has urged the sports-loving people of Nigeria to look forward to 2023 with great hope and expectations for overall development and positive turnaround, especially the Amputee Football Sector.
In his New Year released in his new capacity as the president of the Federation, Maduakor expressed the hope that 2023 would be a “year of giant lift for the federation”, urging the support of the cooprate world and people to make the dream a reality.
He congratulated Nigerians for making it to the New Year in spite of the numerous challenges and threats noting that the miracle of daily existence in good health itself is a grace that must never be taken for granted. He thanked God for berthing in 2023 despite the odds of the past years.
The amputee football president pledged his commitment to development, welfare, job creation, human capital development and infrastructure in the New Year to turn around the fortunes of the sport.
He said his board was working hard to give the Federation a new face and make it more attractive to sponsors and individuals.
Maduakor disclosed that his administration is liaising with individuals, companies and critical government agencies to facilitate access to funds to support the growth of the Nigeria Amputee Football Federation.
He concluded with prayers to all Nigerians, saying, “May all our unfulfilled plan goals of 2022 be accomplished this year.” .
