“?Alexandre Pato is name that many will have heard, and yet very few could tell you much about him.
The Brazilian burst onto the European scene as a teenager when he joined AC Milan in the summer of 2007 and went on to become the club’s leading talisman for several years.
Poor form and fitness meant he rather left the European game with a whimper, however a brief loan spell with Chelsea last season seemed to suggest he may be on the up once again.
Whilst the striker had little playing time at Stamford Bridge, he did enough to impress Spanish outfit Villarreal who signed him up in the summer transfer window.
Whilst meeting new teammates has become something of a routine for Pato, the striker clearly has no issues entering a new dressing room and for one very good reason.
Speaking to Fox Sports Italia (as quoted by “?101greatgoals), the Brazilian revealed the quirky introduction he was given to the AC Milan dressing room back in 2007.
“I was 17 at the time,”? said Pato. “Ronaldo and Maldini were sitting close to me and Kaka was in front of me in the dressing room. Ronaldo came to me, he asked me how I was and told me: “?You have to choose between me and Kaka’, showing me a Playboy magazine. “?You can either enter my group or his (Kaka) group.’”?
“That moment was a bit strange. I used to play Ronaldo with my Play Station and I didn’t expect that, but it was still an important moment.”?
So there you have it folks, as if meeting footballing legends for the first time wasn’t enough to take in, he had to decide whether to take up party-boy Ronaldo’s offer of a Playboy magazine.
No wonder meeting new teammates doesn’t phase him anymore.
