Middlesbrough’s Chuba Akpom has been named the EFL Championship Player of the Month for December.
Akpom banged four goal in as many games for Boro during the month one of which was a Boxing Day fixture against Wigan Athletic where he scored an hat-trick.
The 27 year-old is also the top scorer in the Championship shaking the net with 13 goals in 19 appearances.
Middlesbrough, who sit fifth in the Championship, will host sixth-place Millwall at the Riverside on Saturday 14 January.
