Akinfenwa On Target As AFC Wimbledon Head Into Playoff Final

AFC Wimbledon have reached the Sky Bet League 2 Play-Off final after coming from two goals down to claim a 2-2 draw with Accrington Stanley at Crown Ground.

Adebayo Akinfenwa, who entered the fray in the 46th minute, sent the tie into extra time when he found the net in the 68th minute. He was yellow carded in the 105th minute.

The Dons young striker Adebayo Azeez was limited to 55 minutes of action, including extra time.

Moses Ogbu was introduced as a 54th minute as Joenkoepings Soedra were beaten 3-1 by John Owoeri’s BK Hacken in the Allsvenskan. The out-of-favour Nigeria international was an unused sub.

Still in Sweden, Oestersunds FK shared the spoils with Helsingborg at the Olympia Stadion (1-1)
