The Aiteo Cup is set to take centre stage again this Saturday, Nigeriaaoccernet.com gathered.
The cup competition was halted weeks back due to some challenges, key of which was the CAF Confederation Cup slot meant for the winner allotted to Kwara United who finished 4th in the 2021/22 NPFL season.
Many clubs withdrew their participation after the incident which in turn made the cup irrelevant.
The federation has to meet with the representatives of the aggrieved clubs and agreed to compensate them.
The football body on Monday announced Saturday 27th of August as the for the three remaining quarter-final matches.
The remaining matches includes; Nasarawa United v Wikki Tourists,
Kogi United V Kano Pillars and Tornadoes v Lobi Stars.
Heartland FC are already in the semi-final habing defeated Katsina United on penalties.
