Leicester City have won the race to sign Super Eagles and CSKA Moscow forward Ahmed Musa, report says.
Leicester City have twice had bids turned down for the Nigerian who has been heavily linked with a move to Southampton and West Ham in the last few days but according to Owngoalnigeria transfer expert Daniel Martins, the Foxes have gotten their man at the third time of asking.
“Musa will be in England on Monday to have his medicals alongside his agent , it has been a turbulent story to keep up with but I can confirm to you that he has been bought by Leicester City for a fee in the region of £21m which could rise further base on success” Martins told owngoalnigeria.com from his base in the US.
“There was a late bid from West Ham and Southampton also had a fee agreed for his services but at the end I guess the lure of Champions League Football gave Leicester City the edge over other contenders with Tottenham Hotspur only making enquiries without putting in a bid”.
