The fine form of Super Eagles rave of the moment Ahmed Musa continued yesterday with the forward once again proving his mettle in training ahead of today’s game against Argentina.
Musa scored both goals for Nigeria in their 2-0 win over Iceland to move them to second in the group behind Croatia, who are already through to the round of 16 after beating Nigeria 2-0 before beating Argentina 3-0.
Ahead of today’s game where Nigeria still has a chance of winning if they beat Argentina, Musa was in full flight in yesterday’s training using his pace and technical prowess to good effect during the session.
He scored three times during the season with one of his goals drawing applause from his fellow players judging by the way he took out four defenders before slotting past Ikechukwu Ezenwa.
Many will be expecting same from Musa, particularly coach Gernot Rohr who said he expect the forward to once again find the back of the net against Argentina later today at yesterday’s pre match conference.
