Liverpool look set to miss out on Marko Pjaca after the player’s agent confirmed he is close to completing a move to Serie A champions Juventus.
Marko Naletilic, who represents the Dinamo Zagreb star, has claimed there is a verbal agreement in place between Juventus and Pjaca, meaning Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to land the 21-year-old.
Reports had emerged linking Liverpool with a £12m move for the impressive winger, who scored 12 goals for Dinamo last season.
“It’s not true that Marko has already signed for Juventus. Juventus and Dinamo must agree terms first. That has not happened as of yet,”? Naletilic told Polish publication Sportske Novosti via “?Football Insider.
“But there is a desire to move to Juventus from our end. There is a verbal agreement on the condition that both clubs agree terms.
“Pjaca is close to joining Juventus, but I cannot say anything more until he has actually signed. I think negotiations will be concluded next week.”?

“Marko made this choice because the Bianconeri know him very well, as they’ve been tracking him for four years. They won many Scudetti and play at a high level in the Champions League too,” Naletilic added to Il Messaggero via “?Football Italia.
“It’s a challenge for Pjaca, he is aware of his qualities and thinks he can become a first team player.”
With Pjaca set for Juventus, Klopp will look to other targets after already signing Loris Karius, Sadio Mane and Joel Matip this summer, although he is also set to miss out on Mario Gotze too, with the Bayern Munich play-maker set to return to Borussia Dortmund.
