The Super Eagles of Nigeria arrived the country in the early hours of Tuesday following their 1-0 win over the Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau on Monday, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.
The team led by General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, Sanusi Mohammed were seen alighting from a chartered Air Peace flight at 2:15 am with all the players on board.
Moses Simon goal was all Nigeria needed as the 3-time African champions beat Guinea-Bissau by a lone goal to move a step closer to Cote D’Ivoire.
The players are expected to return to their clubs for league actions which resumes this weekend.
