The Flying Eagles have hit the ground running on arrival in “extremely cold” Morocco and will play their first warm-up match Sunday.
Their second test game will be on Wednesday.
The team have also got new opponents for these matches after earlier reports suggested they will be up against U20 AFCON-bound Benin Republic and South Sudan.
“We will play against Central African Republic and Congo Brazzaville on February 12 and 15th,” Nigeriasoccernet gathered from Flying Eagles spokesman Sharif Abdallah.
Both teams will also feature at the U20 AFCON in Egypt.
“The weather is extremely cold,” Abdallah said.
“It’s therefore important to see how the boys cope under what they are not used to.”
Meanwhile, Gent striker Ahmed Abdullahi is expected to join up with the rest of the squad in Morocco from his Belgian base.
There are currently 24 players in Morocco
