The Flying Eagles will have their first training Friday morning after they touched down today from a training camp in Morocco preparatory to the U20 AFCON Nigeria soccernet reveal.
Team spokesman Sharif Abdallah said the team will train by 7.30 am, which is 6.30am in Nigeria.
A team of 20 players and 10 officials landed in Cairo after a flight of five and half hours.
Belgium-based striker Ahmed Abdullahi will join the team in Egypt.
Defender Abel Ogwuche from Swedish club Trelleborgs FF is the other overseas-based pro on the squad.
The Flying Eagles have been booked into the Jewel Sports City and Acqua Resorts.
They open their U20 AFCON campaign Sunday night against Senegal.
Hosts Egypt and Mozambique are the other teams in Group A.
