“?Liverpool’s out-of-favour defender Mamadou Sakho could finally be on his way out of Anfield in January, with Serie A giants AC Milan and Inter Milan ready to pounce, according to “?reports in France.

The 26-year-old hasn’t played a single minute of Premier League football so far this season, with Jurgen Klopp effectively freezing out the former PSG captain, following a well-publicised dispute in pre-season.

Reports claimed, Sakho had missed a training session while Liverpool were on tour in the US, and he further enraged his employer by almost missing his flight back home. As a result Sakho’s Liverpool future seems as good as over, despite his contract running until 2020.

Ligue 1 outfit Marseille are also reportedly keen on the centre back, as they look to secure a replacement for ex-Man City defender Karim Rekik, who is the subject of interest from the likes of City and Inter.

Milan are in desperate need of a central defender after injuries have ruled Gabriel Paletta and Alessio Romagnoli out for much of the season so far.

“?Inter, meanwhile, are looking for cover for Colombian defender Jeison Murillo, who has struggled to build a solid defensive partnership with veteran defender Joao Miranda. And Sakho could well be the man to fit the bell as the Frenchman tries to clear his name after being suspended last summer for using suspected performance-enhancing drugs.

Premier League side West Brom are prepared to offer Sakho a lifeline by offering him a loan-deal, according to the “?Liverpool Echo, while French side Nice are also reportedly keeping tabs on the defender.
