Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has resumed training with SS Lazio and could be available for their upcoming Serie A clash against Torino on Monday, writes Nigeriasoccernet.com.
The 24-year-old missed Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe due to an ankle injury sustained last month during a league match against Venezia. Despite making a brief return in the Europa League Round of 16 second leg against Viktoria Plzen, he suffered a relapse that ruled him out of Lazio’s defeat to Bologna.
According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Dele-Bashiru participated in group training on Wednesday, signaling his potential return to the squad against Torino. Lazio fans will be hopeful that the midfielder regains full fitness to strengthen their midfield in the crucial league fixture.
