Ikorodu City were defeated by Abeokuta Stormers Sports Club in their match of Nigeria National League, NNL match day 2 fixture on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Oga Boys lost by two second half goals to nil to ABSS at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne in the Southern Conference group B3 match.
The Stormers scored the first in the 48th minute from their first shot on target as the defense of the Lagos side was caught napping.
The second goal came from Musa’s shot which was deflected in by Michael in the 71st making hard for a comeback for Ikorodu.
The Stormers were reduced to ten men in the 82nd minute after a poor challenge from their player, but Ikorodu couldn’t cash on the numerical advantage at the end of 90 minutes.
