REVEALED: Flying Eagles coach Bosso owed 15 months’ pay amid speculations over future

The Flying Eagles coach Ladan Bosso has been working without receiving a salary since he was reappointed by the NFF.

This was revealed anonynimously through A top NFF source he said “The man (Bosso) is owed salaries running into at least 15 months, but he has not come out to make this public, rather he has carried on with the job without any complaints.

“His case has been one of suffering and smiling.”

The experienced coach has met the NFF target of qualifying the country to the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup in Indonesia after the Flying Eagles reached the semifinal of the U20 AFCON in Egypt.

However, it has been gathered that the NFF leadership has been far from impressed with his team and have made this very clear to him.

It was further gathered that the authorities could even be mulling options of who to lead the Flying Eagles to the World Cup in Indonesia in May.

Rumours have also been fueled that his main backer no longer calls the shots in the NFF.

The 2023 U20 World Cup will kick off on May 20 in Indonesia.

The draw for the competition will be conducted at the end of this month in Jakarta.
