Leon Balogun put in another impressive performance for Queens Park Rangers, who pipped Sheffield United 1-0 away in the English Championship on Tuesday.
It is now back-to-back away wins for Balogun and his QPR teammates in the second-tier level of English football.
QPR have now gone four consecutive games unbeaten securing three wins and one draw.
And in Tuesday’s game, which was Balogun’s which fifth, Chris Willock got the only goal in the 51st minute.
And following the win QPR are now in fourth place on 21 points in the league standings after 12 games played.
QPR will hope to maintain their unbeaten streak when they host Reading on Friday October 10.
Ian McCullough wrote :”He Was a very solid presence in the back four. Dominant in the air and made a covering tackle of the highest class in the first half to dispossess Andi Weimann.
“However, he and Dieng should have done better to deal with the cross for Wells’ goal, with the former QPR striker’s shot coming off the Nigerian centre-back. ”
Balogun joined Queens Park Rangers on a free transfer in August following his release by Glasgow Rangers, teaming up with head coach Mick Beale, with whom he worked with at the Light Blues.
