Crown FC general manager Kunle Oyeleye has no regrets about missing out on the promotion ticket to the Nigeria Professional Football League over the weekend.
The Nigeria National League came to an end last weekend with Bayelsa United securing the promotion ticket to the Nigeria Professional Football League after seven years. The Ajilete Warriors had a good outing with unbeaten home record, and managed to get to six points on the road.Crown FC led by Head Coach Anthony Encho finished second behind Bayelsa United on 42points with [Win 13, Draw 3, Lose 8].
“I am not someone who has big regrets. I think things happen for a reason. We are not disappointed at all, we started the season well and we’ve now ended it well. Although you feel somehow if you don’t achieve your target as human being but I believe that man proposes but God disposes”.
Oyeleye believes the club has done very well in the season but tricks and power play prevented them from achieving thier set goals. He believes the proposed super eight circulating in the media sector can also help the club secure promotion ticket if ratified.
“All hope is not lost because they are still clamouring for Super 8 and to the glory of God, we have eminently qualified for it with our second position on the log”. He concluded
