Friendly: Super Falcons depart Nigeria ahead of double-header versus USWNT

The Super Falcons of Nigeria on Wednesday afternoon left the shores of the country for the United States ahead of the doubleheader friendly games against the US Women’s National Team (USMNT), Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.

Having both secured their place in next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup billed for Australia and New Zealand, the Super Falcons of Nigeria and USWNT will clash twice this September in a preparatory game towards the world cup.

The first of the clashes will take place on Saturday September 3rd at the Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas, and the second clash is scheduled for the Audi Field in Washington, D. C. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

Tosin Demehin, Christy Ohiaeriaku, Mbadi Amanda Uju, Akudo Ogbonna and Gift Monday are part of the players who traveled to the US with others playing in Europe and other parts of the world expected to team up with them over there.
