On loan Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa could be on his way back to the English Premier League with Brighton and Hove Albion interested in his services.
Owngoalnigeria.com gathered that Brighton have been tracking him for some time, and they were even close to signing him on loan from Leicester City in January before he decided on a return to CSKA Moscow.
At CSKA Moscow, the 25 year old has regained the form that made Leicester splash 16 million euros on him with 5 league goals to his name from just nine games, while in the domestic cup he has a goal to his name, same as in the Europa League where he played six games.
Brighton have been impressed with his performance and they are hoping to thrash out a deal that could see him return to the Premier League at the end of his loan deal with the Russian side.
Musa is among the few players who are almost certain to make the squad of Nigeria for the World Cup in Russia later this year, and it could delay a decision on his future.
