Manchester City have set a new record for an English top division club by winning their last 11 away games in all competitions.
Pep Guardiola’s side came from a goal behind to clinch a late 2-1 win at Huddersfield Town on Sunday.
The victory, sealed by a Raheem Sterling goal, took City to 37 points from 13 games.
That is the highest total from that number in the Premier League era, with only Liverpool having matched it in 1990-91, Opta statistics show.

City’s second-half double cancelled out a Nicolas Otamendi own goal just before the break and saw them recover from an away Premier League half-time deficit for the first time since 1995.
Asked whether he had enjoyed the win as much as the 6-0 victory over Watford, Guardiola told a news conference: “Definitely, definitely, more than winning 4-0, the same words I said in locker room after the game.
“We need to win in these kind of games in that way. That, maybe, that will convince more, that we are able to do that wherever.”
