“?Lyon on preparing to make a late bid to sign Juventus full back Patrice Evra, despite reports indicating that the Frenchman is advanced talks with Crystal Palace over a possible move.
The Ligue 1 side recently completed a £16m deal with Manchester United for Dutch winger Memphis Depay and are looking to add a defender to their squad, as they bid to chase down the likes of PSG and Nice, who are fighting it out at the top of the French division.

And one possible option could well be Evra, who looks set to leave current side Juventus, having lost his first team spot to Alex Sandro this season.
The former Manchester United left-back is thought to be closing in on a return to the Premier League with Palace, but Lyon are ready to make for the 35-year-old an offer of their own, according to “?reports in France.
The club’s president Jean-Michel Aulas is keen to enter discussions with Juventus, but is waiting to be given the go ahead by manager Bruno Génésio.

Evra has made just six Serie A appearances this season, although he has featured in all of Juventus’ Champions League fixtures to date. In his two-and-a-half years in Turin he has won numerous domestic trophies, including the Serie A title twice and the Supercoppa Italiana.
It is understood that he would favour a return to England as he approaches the end of his career, so Lyon will have to make the player a tempting offer if they are to win the race to sign him.
