The 2016 annual general assembly of Nigeria Football Federation will hold in Lagos this weekend.
NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, stated that the event that will take place at Best Western Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos will have in attendance Chairmen and Secretaries of the Football Associations of the 36 States and the FCT, Chairmen and Secretaries of the various Leagues, Chairmen and Secretaries of the Referees Association, Coaches Association and Players Union, Members of the NFF Executive Committee, NFF Management and a number of stakeholders.
The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode will be chief host, with the Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports, Barr. Solomon Dalung as special guest.
Chairman of the Senate Committee on Sports, Senator Obinna Joseph Ogba; his counterpart in the House of Representatives, Hon. Goni Lawan and; the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Chinyeaka Ohaa are among guests for the day.
The Congress will, among other items on the agenda, receive reports from each of the various geo-political zones on their activities in the past one year; receive the consolidated and revised balance sheet and profit-and-loss statement of the Federation and consider for approval the Federation’s 2017 budget proposal.
