“?Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has made no secret of his desire to sign for Real Madrid in the recent past.
It was his opportunity earlier this week to impress his potential future employers close up, too, as Auba’s Borussia Dortmund welcomed the European Cup holders in a Champions League group stage tie. The match ended 2-2, and he even scored – albeit from a yard out.
You can only wonder how he’d have felt scoring against the club he supports, the one he told his granddad he’d sign for at some point in his career. It appears, too, that his young son is indeed a Real Madrid fan – and both of them received quite the present from Los Blancos’ star man Cristiano Ronaldo after the full time whistle.
CR7 and Auba swapped shirts, and the Gabonese international took to Instagram to share just how happy his son was at receiving the present from the Portuguese captain.
He posted “@cristiano you’ve made my son happy”, with a picture of Auba Jr. holding up the top. Not bad, not bad.
