The Football Association of Zambia is planning a friendly match with South Korea on September 28 ahead of the Chipolopolo’s crucial qualifying fixture against the Super Eagles Nigeria next month.
FAZ officials are currently engaged in discussions with the South Korea Football Federation and one other country for the friendly encounter.
FAZ learnt want the team to play against a high profile opponent before coming up against three- time African champions, Nigeria in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
That will also afford the newly appointed handler of the side, Wedson Nyirenda the opportunity to test his side ahead of the game.
The Chipolopolo will take on the Super Eagles at the Levy Nwanawasa Stadium, Ndola on October 9.
The South African nation are looking to secure a berth in the World Cup finals for the first time in their history.
The Desert Foxes of Algeria and the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon are the other teams in the group
